To give you a chance to settle in, make new friends and find your way around campus before teaching starts, we have a whole week full of Welcome and Induction activities planned for you. It's made up of several parts and is all about getting you set up and settled into Kingston!
Welcome Week will run from 18–22 September for most students.
If you're studying one of the below courses, your course starts earlier than Monday 18 September. Your faculty will contact you with more information about your course induction.
Welcome Week offers a mix of online and on-campus activities and is made up of your compulsory course induction session, an online welcome module and a 'pick and choose' Freshers and Welcome programme which offers tons of events and sessions for all different interests.
There's a lot to navigate during your first few weeks at university, whether it's getting your head around the new digital tools you'll be using as a student, finding your way around campus or knowing where to go and who to speak to if you have any questions once you're here. Don't worry, you'll find many friendly faces on campus ready to help.
Follow our steps to Kingston where we outline everything you need to do, and when, before you join us. How enrolment works, the process you go through to becoming an official Kingston student and what you can expect from your Welcome and Induction Week.
