Welcome to Head Start
As well as feeling excited about the prospect of starting university, many new students are nervous about what lies ahead. Our Head Start programme will help prepare you for life as an undergraduate student and provide an opportunity for us to answer any questions you may have.
It is completely free of charge to take part in Head Start and by getting involved you will:
- Feel more confident and better prepared to start your course
- Interact with other new students who are part of the programme and build friendships
- Meet staff from key areas of the university, and current students who will provide you with invaluable tips to ensure you are successful at University
- Become familiar with the university and the different support services available
- Receive invaluable study skills advice and gain an understanding of what is expected of you academically.
Booking your place at Head Start
In order to join us for one of our Head Start events you must be holding a Firm offer for an undergraduate course at Kingston University. Our in-person events will only be available to Home applicants. We will be hosting an online event where international applicants are welcome to take part.
