There are many more ways to get involved

The experience and expertise you have is invaluable to our students. Here are some of the many ways to volunteer.

• Mentor a student: Share your knowledge and experience and encourage a young person to achieve their potential while broadening your own skills and judgement.

• Share your career insights: Think of all you'd like to have known before you started your career. How might you have benefited from experienced advice in your area of interest? Now's your chance to help those following in your footsteps.

• Offer work experience: We'd love to know if your company can offer placements to Kingston undergraduate students. Placements are truly beneficial to both students and employers.

• Talk to prospective students: Use your experience to tell future students what it's like to study and live at Kingston.
• Organise graduate events: If you have a talent for organising, why not host an alumni event in your city. These can be professional, social, serious or fun. 
• Be a Bright Ideas Judge: If you are passionate about new ideas, become a Bright Ideas online judge. Bright ideas is our annual student competition designed to give our students from any faculty at any level, the opportunity to develop a business idea, have it evaluated and win a prize up to £1,000. 
• Online judging: In this exciting role, you will be judging the online application submitted by our students entering the Bright Ideas competition.

• Be a final judge: The final is the last stage of the Bright Ideas competition, where the students will pitch their ideas to panels of judges. In this role you will be part of one of the panels, judging and scoring the ideas.
