We want to ensure anyone with potential and drive has the opportunity to study with us, no matter what their background or financial situation. That's why each year, we provide a number of bursaries to support our undergraduate students gain their degree.
There are 400 bursaries of £2,000 available to eligible undergraduate students with 'Home' fee status who start courses at Kingston University in September 2023.
Care leaver students who have been assessed as 'home' for fee purposes are eligible to receive a non-repayable bursary each year of their study, as well as priority for the Kingston Bursary, if all of the criteria are met.
Estranged students who have been assessed as 'home' for fee purposes are eligible to receive a non-repayable bursary each year of their study, as well as priority for the Kingston Bursary, if all of the criteria are met.
Young adult carers who enrol at Kingston University and have been assessed as 'home' for fee purposes are eligible to receive a non-repayable bursary for each year of their study, as well as priority for the Kingston Bursary, if all of the criteria are met.
Four full fee-remitted Sanctuary Scholarships are available for Asylum Seeking applicants with no access to Student Finance loans. This is in support of STAR's Equal Access Campaign enabling higher education for refugees and asylum seekers who have fled persecution and sought asylum in the UK.
The Chancerygate Foundation Bursary will next support one student starting in September 2023 with a bursary of up to £10,000 per year for each year of study. The Bursary is open to students from a Black British background starting a BSc in Building Surveying, Real Estate Management or Quantity Surveying.
Healthcare organisation Salutem is offering a scholarship for one Learning Disability Nursing or Social Work student and one Accounting & Finance student.
