Town House
Kingston University library buildings are open for all our learners and the wider community.
Please note, to help manage building capacity, from Monday 24 April until Sunday 11 June 2023, only Kingston University students, staff or invited guests are allowed to use our study desks / study areas. Visitors are welcome to view our buildings and use our cafes but not use study areas.
From 1 August 2022 to 23 April 2023 & 12 June 2023 to 31 December 2023 – Designated study spaces (limited capacity) will be available to visitors. For more information, see our library services for visitors page.
Face coverings are a personal choice when in any library building.
We were delighted that on 6 January 2020 the library at our Penrhyn Road campus moved into the new Town House building. The Town House was an exciting project for us, and provides more study space, improved layout and facilities, including lots of natural light. The building contains teaching studios for dance, space for events, a covered courtyard, two cafes and two roof gardens. The Town House is a place to learn and connect with easy access to our collections, both printed and digital, with excellent IT facilities and connectivity.
