Important information – building works in neighbouring buildings

For all bookings of 73 Penrhyn Road (PR) rooms, please be aware there will be building works in neighbouring buildings during your stay, in particular in next door 71 Penrhyn Road where there will be works throughout the academic year.

This means there may be additional noise and contractors working close by until September 2024.

The renovations of 75 Penrhyn Road will also be occurring next door and whilst these are aiming to complete in October 2023 this may be later depending on the renovation works.

Please therefore only book these rooms if you understand and are willing to accept the above.

Important information – hotel stay at the start of your licence

Rooms in 75 Penrhyn Road (PR) are currently undergoing renovations and unfortunately will not be ready for the start of the halls licence in September. Should you book a 75 Penrhyn Road room, we will make arrangements for you to be accommodated in a local hotel at no additional cost to you (other than the licence cost) until your room is ready for you to move in.

We expect this hotel stay to be approximately 6 weeks, but this may be later depending on the renovation works and we will keep you updated if you book one of these rooms.

We will inform you as soon as the renovations are complete and you are able to move into 75 Penrhyn Road, where you will benefit from extensive refurbishment including redecoration and new wifi throughout.

My favourite part was how modern the accommodation was at 75 Penrhyn Road and how close proximity-wise it was to the University. The walk I had to do took me less than a minute as it was right next to the Penrhyn Road campus.
