I am a senior lecturer and module leader for the Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Practice Foundation Degree. Prior to joining Kingston University I taught on this same course at one of our partner colleges. I also taught teacher training at this college.
I have a lot of experience in the field of education and have taught pedagogical qualifications at all levels within FE and HE. I have been teaching and training in one capacity or other since I was a teenager when I taught English as a Foreign language to French students. I have also worked as an Early Years practitioner and have a particular interest in how early interventions and interactions can help long-term outcomes for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. I am also interested in how talking therapy can help young people with learning disabilities.
I have taught and visited Teaching Assistants extensively and have an interest in how schools effectively utilise this essential part of their workforce.
