I joined the Joint faculty as a senior lecturer having worked previously in a teaching position at Kings College London.
Here I teach across the curriculum at undergraduate and post graduate level and in my role I provide high quality teaching and research to a diverse range of students.I am particularly interested in Public health and its role in midwifery and along side this smoking cessation and perinatal mental health, especially from fathers and people that identify as fathers points of view.
I am also very interested in the student voice and experience and my research is currently focused on partnership working with students around the admissions process.
I am the admissions tutor for our Midwifery courses and engage in widening participation with both our Joint Universities as well as strengthening our links with local schools and Universities. To support this widening participation work I am also a Health Ambassador with Health Education England.
