Dr Purva Tavri is a Chartered Environmentalist, Chartered Waste Manager, an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy, Environmental Planner & Architect, with over 15 years of experience in sustainability and waste management.
She is a Centre Councillor in the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) London & Southeast Centre and a Steering Committee Member of the Island Waste Management Global Alliance.
Purva is a trained researcher with her doctoral research on exploring how organisations adopt reuse behaviour in practice. She has also received awards from CIWM, International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) and Inspiring Indian Women (IIW) for her publications. She has been nominated by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management Equality, Diversity and Inclusion group as one of the influential women in the industry.
Purva aims to achieve longevity by bringing individuals and organisations to a self-sustainable level and always aims to combine research and practice for a better environment and well-being in society.
