Dr Islam Choudhury

About

My main research interest is in agile business and UML modelling and hence I pursued a PhD entitled Generic Reusable Business Object Modelling. This research develops an agile framework for building a Generic Reusable Business Object Model  (GRBOM). I was awarded a full scholarship to complete my PhD.

Since I joined Kingston University, I continued my expertise in agile project management and business analysis and worked with the Agile Business Consortium as one of the Directors. This enabled me to introduce agile concepts into my teaching and research, including agile certification courses for the students. I am the Postgraduate Coordinator on the Computer Science courses and course leader and module leader for many subjects. My main teaching and research commitments include ecommerce, project management, knowledge management and modelling enterprise architectures. I have supervised many PhDs and a KTP project in these subject areas.
