I am a Senior Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering in Kingston University London, UK. Originally from China, I received my PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Engine Combustion Laboratory in Tianjin University. I then developed my research career in City University London, Queen's University Belfast and Cranfield University, UK as a Research Fellow. I had been engaged in EU, Innovate UK and EPSRC research projects.
Since I joined Kingston University in 2015, I have established and maintained a high-quality research and teaching profile. My current research areas include:
I have developed a high-profile research track record by national / international research collaborations, research funding applications and awards, and peer-reviewed journal publications. I am supervising PhD projects. I have been fully engaged in all aspects of teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Aerospace / Mechanical engineering in Kingston. I am teaching Aerospace Engineering MSc/MEng/BEng (Hons) course. I have supervised undergraduate final-year projects and MSc individual projects. I am a Member of Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS) and a chartered aeronautical engineer. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
