About
I am a Senior Lecturer in Adult nursing, specialising in critical care. I qualified as nurse in Manchester and my first jobs were based in Oncology. When I moved to London, I specilaised within Critical Care and completed the ITU course at The University of West London. I have worked in a variety of Intensive Care Units across London. I have a MSc in Clinical Leadership and Management.
Within critical care I have a strong interest in acute and chronic pain management and have worked as a Pain Management Specialist Nurse at Guys and St Thomas'. I have also been a Lead Nurse for Preceptorship at St Georges' hospital and enjoy teaching and mentoring student nurses. I am involved in teaching various modules within the pre-registration course
