My current responsibilities include the role of Course Lead for the MRes (Education) and the PGCE Top Up, and Professional Lead for Postgraduate Courses (non-ITE).  Until recently, I was the Partnership Lead for the Initial Teacher Education programmes.

I first joined Kingston University in 2016, working as Deputy Director, Secondary Phase PGCE Programme Leader.  I previously worked on the Teach First Programme at UCL, Institute of Education and at London Metropolitan University where I was Modern Languages PGCE Course Leader and the coordinator for Secondary Partnership.

I acheived Fellowship of the HEA in January 2016.

Before working in teacher education, I worked in secondary education as a modern languages teacher for fifteen years.  Additional school responsibilities included the roles of School Co-ordinator for the Gifted and Talented Programme and Head of the Modern Languages Faculty.
