Research

My research interests are broadly related to forensic mental health settings and topics relevant to people who are admitted to these services based on their mental health needs and past, current or future risk of causing harm. Past research has included the evaluation of offence focused and mental health restoration groupwork interventions for forensic patients, and investigating psychological outcome assessments in this field. Current research interests are in the use of restorative justice in mental health settings, professional boundaries and assessing change.
