About
I gained my PhD at the University of Northampton in 2017. Prior to joining Kingston, I was a lecturer at SOAS University of London and Birmingham City University. My areas of research and expertise include criminalization, gender normativity, domestic, and gang-related violence, racial disparity, discrimination, and exclusion. I am a member of the British Society of Criminology and a Senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I am presently working on two projects, questions of Anti-Asian racism, and Experiences of Violent crime in Croydon community.
I am interested in supervising PhD candidates with research projects within my expertise.
