About
Nana Varveropoulou is a photographer, artist and Senior Lecturer and Module Leader on the BA (Hons) and MA Photography programmes at KSA (year leader for Level 6)
Nana's practice and research is focused on various issues relating to human rights and social justice, often through the process of collaboration. Nana's projects include No Man's Land, a collaborative project that explores experiences of indefinite immigration detention in the UK, or Alternative Provision a project investigating the causes and impact of exclusion from mainstream education, through the lens of the young people experiencing it.
Nana also works as an editorial photographer for various UK and European publications and as an artist/facilitator, supporting different communities in the UK in the process of developing community led art projects responding to key issues affecting them, through the production of artwork and creative interventions.
