I am the course leader for MA Publishing and also teach on our new BA Publishing course. I am module leader for three modules on the MA: PU7001 Create, PU7002 Make and PU7006 Practical Publishing Project. On the BA I am module leader for PU4001 How Publishing Works and PU5001 Practical Publishing. I also teach students on PU6001 leading them through their capstone project to publish a series of books. I am also responsible for Kingston University Press.

As a practising publishing professional I project manage and edit commercial non-fiction projects for global trade publishing houses, particularly Hachette. Prior to establishing myself as a freelance I worked in-house in British book publishing for over twenty years in editorial departments at BBC Books, Pavilion and Pan Macmillan before joining Headline Book Publishing in 2001 as commissioning editor and later publisher.
