Dr Daniel Read

About

Daniel Read an Hourly Paid Lecturer and Part-Time Research Assistant at Kingston University. His research focuses on the fiction and philosophy of Iris Murdoch. Alongside his focus on Murdoch, he teaches on subjects including professional writing and communication, trauma and justice, Victorian and Modernist literature, and late-Victorian homosexual writers.

He is an Editor of the Iris Murdoch Review for which he has also contributed essays and reports. He is currently developing his thesis, ‘The Problem of Evil and the Fiction and Philosophy of Iris Murdoch' (2019), into a monograph.
