Dr Landé Pratt

About

I lead the MSc in Project Management for Creative Practitioners at Kingston University's Kingston School of Art. I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an independent consultant /agent drawing on my skills as a trained barrister.  My creative experience and background in law enables independent industry-based work - consulting in IP strategy, agile innovation management and acting as an agent working with visual artists and sport talent. I represent and mentor a select group in these areas internationally and in the UK.

My research explores intersections between design, creative agency, technology and law. Focusing on the value of lean and agile management within these areas of practice.  I have been looking at the use of smart contracts in art and sports management and exploring approaches to AI ethics in art and other  creative industry sectors.  Addressing here, challenges and opportunities of disruptive & innovative tech in relation to disintermediation, empowerment, inter-sectional identit(ies) representation, and regulatory (un)certainty.

In an earlier role I project managed the British Film Institute's flagship site screenonline.org.uk, a digital archive focusing on the history of British film and television.
