About
I started teaching English Language to adults 15 years ago in language schools in Brighton, Sydney and London. I moved into teaching English for Academic Purposes at Kingston University and am currently the Pre-sessional Course Director. I have also continued researching within the study of Applied Linguistics. My specific research areas are the analysis of creative academic genres; corpus analysis and multimodal analysis and I am currently working on my PhD with Birmingham University. I am also interested in course and assessment design and the development of online resources for learning.
